Hi i fitted a egr delete kit yesterday to my tdi bora after fitting started it up it sounded like there was no boost there so give it a couple of revvs then the engine started a nocking noise and a lot of black smoke then revved it again the nocking went sodid the smoke so tryed driving it it felt ok then it would missfire chuck a clump of black smoke got a little worried so removed it all refitted the egr valve as it were then all was fine
? Please help

I assume you removed the flexi pipe that connects to the EGR and put the blanking plate on the exhaust manifold??

Yes mate capped the exhaust manifold off

That sounds very much like you havent put a seal in place or done something up tight so you have a massive boost leak
