Identify these wheels - MK5
« on: 31 July 2014, 15:31 »
Hey guys, I have had a MK5 Golf GT TDI since March, loving it and its a great car. Anyway, I'm currently in two minds, I have these Diamond Cut wheels:

I don't know if i should

A) Get them refurbed diamond cut
B) Get them resprayed a dark grey

Does anyone have an idea of the actual name of these alloys at all and do they own a set themselves? Did you know of any that have been painted instead of diamond cut again?

They're Charleston's. I've got the Charleston Shadow version on my mk6 GTD, which were the 18" optional upgrade on the mk6 GTD. The 'shadow' version is painted black in the recesses between the spokes, and the faces of the spokes are diamond cut.

Wouldn't advise you to paint them dark grey but if you do, post a picture. The Golf R chinese replicas i replaced them for have the brightest aluminium paint on the planet and i've got a scuff on one.
Audi S1 gone, awaiting 1.5tsi r-line, pan roof, led lights front and rear, active dash, 18" jurva alloys and a dealer fitted Oettinger roof spoiler in tornado red.
