New steering wheel arrived in the post today  Love it!

Right few quick updates as it's been a while....

Bought another set of hella magic colours to match the heckblende and save the all reds for shows :



Fitted the bonrath lower air ducts!.....right pain in the arse but now nice and snug

Fitted the lupo Gti wipers :

Lined up to raise some money for charity at a local event by showing our cars as part of a family fun day #somethingforthedads

 


Bought a TT MK1 rear view mirror and found some centre caps for my steels

Got the car back up on the ramps, lowered the front some more and aligned the suspension :

Well it seems like the old girl is a bit of a photowhore at shows these days  a selection from sittin dubs big meet at the weekend

right so time for an update as its been a while : 

Went to ED38 - had a good time minus sleep - car went down really well on both days






After running the banded's for around a year - decided it was time for new wheels so I did a deal on these



Super rare ABT A7 17's - 5x100 ET 35 7.5J all round

Got them wrapped in some imported Falken 195-45-17's



Fitted them along with some smooth rub strips I painted before a trip down to players








Also fitted new side skirt strips fresh from VW along with an original Black VW Army badge

Since then I've managed to find a super rare ABT wing, dug out my ABT grill to match and found a black VW rear badge to match the front and continue the theme 





Also became a part of the rockbottom auto team - they had been following my build and speaking to me at the last few shows 



Stripped the car down in prep for more paint - found some arch rust I thought was solvent coming through
