Just found a ticket from Sunday in my back pocket.......completely forgot they had a photographer on the way in!!! haha

Right time to start assembling parts for the interior makeover:

So the plan is :

Keep the Anni Seats for the time being - on the lookout for some good red & Black CC ones
Colour concept black door cards all round with chrome Mk3.5 cabby handles (got fronts need rears)
Black A,B,C Pillars
Anni spec steering wheel
TT Mk1 rear view mirror
Headliner re-trim to match the red/black theme
New hand break gaitor black with red stitching
Also need to find the bracket so my highline rear centre console fits properly!!!!
Re-trim the grab handles in red leather #kinky
Re-trim the rear parcel shelf (possibly)

Already got the black A,B,C Pillars and CC door cards = happy days

picked up the door cards - stripped them down fully and cleaned out 17yrs of dirt, an old plaster and about 80p in change

Dressed them with Autofinnese trim detailer to restore the colour, conditioned & cleaned the leather and went a bit ocd by cleaning all the screws etc before rebuilding and fitting

Half fitted the black A,B,C pillars too before throwing in the towel for the weekend - will be finished off at the end of the week......

Annoyingly found some blisters on the drivers side front wing and passenger door near the window so another trip back to paint we go over the next few weeks

Got all the black Highline A,B,C Pillars fitted and cleaned before a little trip down to Retro/Dub Mania at Weston Park this weekend

So little update - not a great deal has happened due to work! work and more work!

Few little purchases along the way though :

another set of cabby door handles so I now have chrome handles all round :



They also say its some of the little mods that count ........ Porsche 944 S lockable Petrol cap #red&blackeverything




Still need a little more elbow grease to make it super clean and to keep my OCD at bay though

Another week passes yet more random purchases for the 3!

Full Lupo wiper set with aero blades to finally get shot of the standard ones and tidy the front up (been bugging me for a while)
Porsche Oil Cap - for when I finally start to sort out the engine (gonna get it thoroughly and professionally cleaned over the next few weeks)
sourced a set of Bonrath lower air vents too for the front 

also close to agreeing a deal on a set of black porsche twists too .....happy days!

Took the 3 for a spin to knock the cobwebs off at the weekend - took some photos with my S5 and played around with the edits!

After a few weekends of cleaning and waxing and a few midweek local meets it's time to get my butt into gear and start doing some more work!.......
