Done mine today with water pump easy but that dreaded engine mount took an hour to get back in. Bloody nitemare, took 4hrs in all. Cambelt i took off looked new just didn't have time when previous owner had it done. Better safe than sorry, ended only paying £80 for genuine belt and pump.

Dropping the engine right down is how I do it. Or sometimes right up. Depends what other crap is in the way.

The more 20vt cam belts I do the more I appreciate working on my own car! It's so much easier to work in my bay, this is how it's looked for the last year:

Admittedly the engine mounts need changing, I'm already looking at a set of vf engineering mounts before anyone points out how crusty these ones are - I'm considering going for a different look.

Is that an atmospheric dump valve I can see?

It's a forge 007, at any rate; if one wished to run an atmospheric dump valve on me7.5 it's not a problem if they went for a m.a.p based remap. Just wouldn't be advisable for myself as this is my daily car.

There a lot more pipes by my engine mounting!!! Looks nice and tidy without all pipes, Lots more to be removed yet and lots new parts also.

Much obliged, it needs a bit of work doing to it but I've just been putting it off.
