Title: Running issues

Hi everyone! My mk2 8v has been sitting for a few years and have recently changed the fuel tank and fuel pump to a mk3 gti and was running great but has recently started struggling to run. It struggled to start to begin with but is now starting fine but cuts out when any throttled is applied and idles a bit rough too, could it be some crap stuck in the injectors or something else? Any help would be great thanks! Oh, it’s an 89 digifant by the way!

have you changed the fuel filter?

Yeah I put a brand new one on it.
