Why does most people seem to be collecting on the 2nd, why not the 1st?

Not sure about other people, but for me it was simply because I am at work on the Friday 

I'm James' 10am appointment on the Saturday, how about you?

I'm collecting on the 2nd as James was fully booked already for the 1st.  Not bothered as the Saturday train tickets from East Yorkshire down to London then on to Gillingham are much cheaper and I don't need the day off either

Haha I am literally 11AM, from the sounds of it James is going to be a busy guy on that day!

For me a friend is luckily giving me a lift, its 100 miles or so from Reading.

Hope I don't hold you up! My train gets in to Gillingham station just after 10am.  Not one for big handovers though, I like to discover things on the car rather than be shown.

No I bought direct from the local dealer.  Gone are the days of dealers opening at midnight and the real petrol-heads driving them out of the showroom at that time of night.  Now I'd sooner save my days off for hols, hence collecting on the Saturday which gives me time to clear mine out before collecting the new beast!

Snap! Mine was also confirmed as on 'Main Highway', I got some stick for tracking the boat at work!

Tracker has now updated and confirmed in UK, so all looks set for Sep 1st delivery!

Is there any truth to the fact that JCB Medway Kent (the dealer for Drive the Deal), will reimburse you the costs for travelling to them to collect the car (instead of opting for home delivery)?

They will give you a full tank of fuel and collect you from the station. I did not ask for train expenses to be covered too.

Typically 4 months from receipt of order, but plan for 4 to 6 months and you won't be disappointed...

I paid a deposit for my PP DSG on 08/08/17 (week 32)

I find the VW My Car App is not very good so I went onto the VW Chat Line who gave me a Start Build Week 41

I believe manual gear box have a quicker delivery time than DSG.

All you need to do is give Chat Line your Order Number.
