Get Virgin media 50meg lightening quick, never lags and you can download dwarf porn while gaming on the ps3 and watching the antiques roadshow on bbciplayer.

Alternativley try resetting  the router with the button.Sometimes sorts niggly problems out. What isp you using out of interest?

^ But in answer to the original q its cos Sony introduced the Playstation+ Network for £40 per year.  My mate shared his log in on Saturday night and not a problem on my connection at all...my ID was b0ll0xed...major lag and connection just dropping out completely.

Hope that helps...either that or get a 360

forget virgin, get sky! UK's fastest braordband my arse, as the saying goes, anything can be proven with statistics.

I've had a fair few isps and sky is the best all round, plus you get all the tv and if you have them supply your phone line you get discounts as well. I'm paying £40 a month for unlimited downloads, all entertainment channels, and phone line rental
