I been a member on here 9 months now, and 1st time i been on this thread, Thing is i had my monza blue mk2 16v 10 years now, An i wash it every sun, An every other sunday i wash it dry it with soft chammy thing from pound shop, Polish it with either T, cut colour match or auto glym super resin polish, An use Auto glym bumper care an glass polish, My missus thinks im mad an folks in street reckon im gonna wash it away,
But i been readin some stuff on here about Dryin cloths an clay bars an after polish usin wax,
I Think my car looks bang on when i finish, But after readin this im considerin tryin it out,
What difference could i expect,,
No guts No glory,

Should i go 4 the clay or just try the wax after polishin cause its pretty smooth as i been polishin it on a regular basis,

Clay is useful if after washing the paint still feels rough. Give the car a polish (use a decent wax and not AG SR all the time) and then wax it (this will protect the finish) again invest in a good wax.

applying a sealant after you polish it will ad even more protection as it has uv inhibiters in it, then cap it off with 2x layers of good quality wax :grin:

So that auto glym sr is not very good then, What polish do you reccommend, Cause i was under the influence auto glym was a great polish, And which wax, cause i am gonna get me some this weekend an give it a good seein too,

well i was the biggest cynic about the full on " Detail " having been a fan on megs 3 stage .  car came up good, albeit it with continual work.

Now Mr TONA has worked his wonder on both the Phatsat and the Ashtray Wagons, they are SOOOOOooooooooooo easy to wash and with a once over with a quick detialer look the mutz again . :afro:
