Machined my Mk4
« on: 15 April 2009, 14:42 »
Well I got up early and decided to give the car a decent machine polish to make it shiny

I used a Kestrel DAS6 with Menzerna polishes and the result looks something like this

I'm happy with the finish, applied some PoorBoys Natty Blue after these shots were taken.

What do people think? Really needs a set of wheels and dropping but proper tight budget!

The Kestrel and Menzerna plishes are now up for sale as I doubt I'll use them again, PM me for more details.

Thanks
Tim

why don't you keep it??

you can use the machine to use normal polishes etc and to keep on top of the paintwork condition - no matter how good your wash routine is, swirls will come back (albeit not as bad)

if not i could be tempted.........

I need to recoup some cash as well as I fancy some other goodies for my car!
