Has anyone ever used Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer?
I've been using it for a few years now and can't speak highly of it enough. It's extremely durable and very easy to apply plus it smells nice upon application.
Before I realised this product I used Autoglym HD Wax which was equally a good product but a pan to apply.

Oops, apologies, I added my reply to your post by accident. :embarrassed: Sorted now.
Yes I've used BSD from time to time. The most recent formulation is an absolute breeze to apply and buff off and imo it gives great shine, and reasonable protection, but, for me, it's a bit lacking on aesthetic finish on a deep black pearl car, I prefer certain waxes which enhance both the paint and the pearl flake to a greater degree. Good all round sealant though, good for wheels too.

I love the stuff. So easy to use and excellent beading - 'cos that's what it's all about right

Do you need to wax first then apply this or no need to wax at all ?

Best not to apply onto wax. Sonax BSD is a polymer based sealant so not really compatible with wax, as the two won't bind well together. Use it standalone or on top of other polymer or nano based sealants for best adherence and protection.
