 Cheers mate .Its been a sound car over the years,most reliable hardy motor ive ever had tbh,its takes abuse daily and laps it up wat more can I say!

You still building narrowboats by the way? I worked at Tayberg steel boats in west Yorkshire few years back, left to train as an accountant (now I go to work and am bored everyday!), seeing the boats in your earlier pics made me nostalgic :p

Yes mate I still have the vento front,im just waiting for them to be unpopular then I will put it on haha,still building the boats,would love a break from it tbh but I would miss it too much to give it up and do something else,i would like to build in the winter and have the summer off but we can all dream!

Thanks man! im not sure which grey it is as it was surplus 2k we had at work for a paint job on a widebeam boat!it looks like vw pure grey to me,its very good at hiding the dirt aswell  :smiley:

Had a good day on sunday,managed to get the car running well with new Volvo reds ,and large 3" maf,went to inters for a bit of sprint action,ended up getting second place in my group which I was not expecting lol! heres a few vids

The blue mk3 was a 20v with 230bhp launch control and standalone
The black mk5 golf has an r tech map with 267bhp
The grey mk1 golf has a 20v not sure on power with that one
Also did a golf r and a tt,i did get spanked by a swb audi s2 lol ,all in all I had the best day and have some love back for this motor :) :) :) :)

Hi looking at the post and got a shock noticed the Mk1 gti in the backround of your pictures A34PCJ is it still around as it was my first car at 17 and gutted had to sell for a deposit on a flat, sold it to a girl Brighton way would love to see if its still ok and would it be for sale ? thanks Adrian
