Just a quick report after picking my car up this morning.
Right i had the chance to speak to the owner of the shop after paying the bill for my timing belt change on my golf mk3 gti 8v.
he hasn`t been going that long but he`s an ex vag group mechanic basically got fed up and started his own business.
was originally quoted £125 for the whole process the final bill £105.
I had to drive the car roughly 25 miles after collecting the car it felt great and the small rattle that was there has gone so i think the
timing kit worked, i don`t know if it`s me but now the belts been done the mpg seems to be higher now on the same run i did before the
belt was changed.
the other thing is he advised me to get the car tuned better and the exhaust needs changing soon for stainless
But this is the best thing i like on the reciept i was given it states all work carries a 12month or 10k miles guarantee i will definately be
going back i felt welcome and appreciated for the business i gave them.
