If any one is interested in a decent VW independent workshop for the south lakes/north Lancs area then my experience of the VW Centre in Kendal has been ok and much cheaper than the local VW main dealer (Hadwins). They stock the right VW service essentials and have the right diagnostic stuff. They checked and corrected the fuel pump timing and switched on the cruise that I had fitted myself on my T4 camper 2.5 TDi - for just over £50. Main dealer wanted £60 just for the cruise switch on which takes just a few mins!
