Brake pads - brand recommendations / pp fitment
« on: 03 February 2019, 10:42 »

MOT tester told me I had plenty of meat on pads and to think about a change in 6 months but a complimentary check with a tyre fitting put them at under 3mm (front and rear) so starting to think about arranging it.  Discs seem fine.  Few questions:

- fitment on euro car parts comes up same for GTI and GTI pp.  Is that right for pads?
- have used brembo in the past and been happy.  They come in at £90 front and rear.  Any other brands favoured for wear and low dust?

TIA.

The pads are different between the GTI and GTI pp, the pp ones are the same the Golf R pads.

I’m using Tarox Strada pads on my pp and have found these great pads.
