Hi Guys,

I currently have a MK1 Gti DX engine in my VW T25 campervan and will be soon upgrading it to a MK3 AGG engine. I would like to use my existing Pierburg Pump and possibly accumulator as it is plumbed in with metal fuel pipe to the engine bay with the pump only being a year old.

I understand the AGG needs 3 bar pressure but my MK1 pump kicks out over 6.5 bar! Will the AGG pressure regulator be able to handle this or will I experience issues? Will the joints / connections leak as they are not all bolted like the DX engine, and lastly would the constant pressure by the accumulator cause issues?

Thanks guys

it will work fine. but the pump spins faster due to less restriction at the regulator. so it will be a bit noisier.
