Anyone find ACC brakes very late?

Cheers Jeni - everything's cool apart from old age having a whack at me.

I love ACC but its always something you have to be prepared to over ride and you can, which is lovely.

Its definitely improved on my 7.5 vs the 7 though. Much more intelligent now.

The only other thing is mine is MY18... I think that some 7.5's were made before MY18. When did you get yours?

I think you may have hit the nail on the head with the model years but let's see what Excession_OCP says. My 7.5 gti was an early batch (pre-fog variety) and mine doesn't have this option either...

That could be the issue! Mine's a 17 plate 7.5 GTD - it does have the fogs but appears to be too early to have the parking sensor brake function. Damn the inexorable march of time and technological progress!

Shame you can't flash it to add this. It's only a minor software feature using hardware that's been there for years

Is it possible that the car that stops has dsg and the one that doesn't is manual?

Mine is a DSG but doesn't have it. I'm off to the dealers later so will see what they say. Andy

Nope, mine is manual...

In the car setttings, parking and manoeuvring, enable manoeuvre braking.

Mine's a Mk7.5, I can't remember if the 7 did it...

Had this happen a couple of times, reversing and it thought I was going to hit something and applied the brakes! Didn't realise this was a function...
