Anyone else feel let down by the new BLOPS maps?

I for one am. I hate Hotel, it's so unnecessarily big! The 2 games myself and teammates played on it, we didn't manage to finish to the kill count due to time running out! Zoo is pretty pants as well.

Convoy I would say is the only half decent one, and even that's pushing it.

I felt pretty let down by BLOPS if I'm honest.

As a massive fan of the original Nazi Zombies, the new ones didn't do it for me.

The next Modern Warfare is due for announcement very soon, blockbuster season starts in November...

Battlefield 3, the next Assassin's Creed...

Should be interesting to see if Activision are going to make COD step it's game up rather than sticking to the formula which is selling at the moment.

Trailers for Battlefield 3 are suggesting that they've had a massive overhaul and with the addition of prone it looks like it'll be more multiplayer friendly too.

MW2 was all sorts of awesome, so if the next iteration is MW3, then hopefully it'll help matters. I love the BLOPS story mode, it's really involved and really gives you a sense of being there, but there are many times I just want to f**king scream when it comes to multiplayer and Zombies.

I doubt that Activision will get the next developers to change much, it's a tried and tested formula, which made BLOPS the biggest selling game of all, it's a cash cow that they will prod until they absolutely can't prod anymore without adding something new.

Yeah, I just wish they'd add a few bits...

Destructible environments ala bad company, bigger multiplayer maps and some vehicles and there would be no competition.

BLOPS story was really well done, even got kinda freaky in parts, which is quite hard to do in a game.

They need some sort of anti camping gun too, like the digger in the Gears 3 Beta.

Not got the new maps yet, to be honest don't feel like getting them now
It doesn't feel that long since the last maps, I think big maps are pants as the minute people camp the map is ruined as it's too big to find the fookers.

You need more maps introduced like nuketown and firing range, as soon as those maps come up when your playing the votes go out the roof, so why don;t the makers of these games look at the votes and notice that these small in your face action maps are what people love. Is it hard for them to understand this?

It depends if I'm having a good game or not.  Hotel on the new map pack just isn't worth it, it's crap! You need at least 9 people on either team to fill it out, and the game doesn't support that.

I say roll on MW3, Infinity Ward know what they are doing.

I for one like a BIG map.  I'm not like the kiddies who just run and gun. I'm more realistic in moving between cover and getting some awesome kills in.  I dont get the highest kill scores but my kill/death ratio is awesome.

Yes, Nuketown is  complete waste of time.  Hate it

When it comes up I just place a claymore by the back door covering anyone coming by the side of the house, and I camp behing the concrete wall covering anyone coming the other side by the garage.

Tis also rich pickings when the other team resporn.
