Having got both Forza4 and F1 2011 recently I don't have enough gaming time to enjoy those let alone this as well. Next new game I think will be Batman at Christmas.

I was lucky, GAME have dispatched my copy. Sadly it's getting delivered to my girlfriend's office, and she's off tomorrow! I'm at a party all tomorrow night, so wouldn't have got to play it anyway.

just played my 1st hour farking awesome, weapons are hard to control but its more realistic, and its just fooking great to have effective antiair missiles, already shot down 2 jets and a gunship :grin: gives the air aces the right hump

What a game! mw3 is going to have to be something REALLY special to beat this,the f18 hornet level is immense,not played the multi player yet as I like to complete the campaign before going multiplayer,but so far I'm seriously impressed!,frostbite is the future and has raised the bar. :cool:

bit late but the problems were only EU servers. if you go to filters (click right thumbstick) and select east coast US you can connect no problems

so is this game any good(COD player myself) thought about renting one from blackbuster

the game is awesome but nothing like cod, some maps are huuuuge but the onus is on teamwork and winning the round, the perks are all to do with kit, vehicle and weapons upgrades. air support you provide yourself by jumping in the jet or gunship and flying it yourself :cool:
it takes some getting used to if you've never played any battlefield but much more rewarding than cod. a good tip for noobs is to follow an experienced squad member around and just support him, so if he plays as engineer, you play as support or assault to provide ammo or medipacks, or vice versa.
you can use your cod skills in bf3 but running around trying to stab peeps or using a shottie on the big maps will get you nowhere and alot of deaths
capturing or defending a flag gets you most points, if nothing else remember that

certainly not so much about killing the enemy; more about supporting squadmates and helping with objectives. No room for lone wolves!

I think the strain all you xbox BF3 boyz are putting on the EA servers is causing BC2 to lag!

When will there be hardcore mode, this games driving me up the wall atm! And why did I randomly get a scope on the rmk-47? then I had totatly different guns, then when it went back to the rmk-47 I had no scope !! Not impressed with this game, just seems same as bf2, but with no more hardcoremode!!!

go to server browser then click 'show filter' (right stick on xbox) then in present choose 'hardcore'
Then back out and choose a server :wink:

Here's a tip
go to wherever you have BF3 Installed
mine is: D:\Origin\Origin Games\Battlefield 3 for example
then select the 'bf3.exe'
right click on the exe and go to the compatibility tab
then tick the box that says
"Disable Desktop Composition"
press apply
this will disable windows aero when you open the game and frees up vram
I game at 2560X1600 on 480SLI and sat at 1500MB Vram usage all the time
doing this trick frees up 3-400 mb vram meaning the computer is not bottlenecked
maxxed out, BF3 runs at 1200MB vram usage at the very most.
Copied from a tips and tricks thread I created on overclockers.co.uk. Just tried it out and my VRAM maxxed out at 1151MB on ultra settings. Feels so very smooth now, and very responsive. WIN! :smiley:

Almost level 24 for me. The AEK-971 is such an awesome gun, very little recoil and good rate of fire.

Really want the G36C, looks really good. In support the C4 is so useful! I've also got the limited edition Type 88 LMG which is great, and the DAO-12 shotgun which in maps like operation metro is deadly!

It'd be so good if the engineer could equip the soflam as well, so you could attack planes and also fire without having a direct line of sight.

Soflam? It's a laser guided radar thing that spots enemies, if used in conjunction with javelin (recon and engineer working together) it'll allow the javelin to lock onto air vehicles too. As well as this, it'll also allow you to fire rockets across half of the map, rather than limiting the range. With air vehicles it usually kills them off in 1 hit.

Just got to "Rock and a Hard place", trying to dodge the Ruski jet is a bugger - need a quick break and eye drops for the dry eyes :grin:
been playing around 3 hours now, it's much better than BLOPS, the game play makes it more enjoyable and the realism is wicked. Pity I can't install the HD content because it has to be to the XBOX hard drive... I have the cheap skate 4GB model and even with 3Gb free it won't install, f@cked up :sad:

Secondly the online activation pass has already been used, which Game did not warn me about at time of purchase being a pre-owned.
Going down there in a bit to ask for another online activation pass, 800MSP (equiv. to the pass) or my money back (won't tell them I've completed the game mind :grin: )

Yup, the campaign was an after thought imo Blops Campaign story arc was better imo, but the game play of BF3 is better.
Went back to the store I bought it from, at first spoke to a sales advisor and got into a bit of a row with him :lipsrsealed: :laugh: He was saying that it should have been explained to me that the code might have been redeemed already, I said it never was (because it never was!), He refused to help and handed it back to me... OOPS! :evil: .... that led to me asking for his manager before I rung his scrawny neck, I calmed down before the manager came out and explained the situation. After a bit of chatting and to and fro'ing on offers of how to resolve it, I got the normal edition for £1 extra as he put through an imaginary loyalty card for me :grin: Sure I don't have the limited edition now, but I refuse to pay the 800MSP for something I should have had in the first place! C@nts!

You can pick them up pretty cheap (£10 or less). BF3 definitely gave me the option to save HD content to either one of my drives (MS HDD or USB storage). The USB storage will need to be formatted through dashboard beforehand but is easy enough. There is a 16gb cap though so dont get carried away with external storage. You could even by 2 USB sticks and leave them in the front of the Xbox :smiley: You'd have 36gb in total then (clever me!)

Going to get a 320Gb internal drive for it, not too badly priced as they come in a caddy, so by the time I've ordered the correct drive model and the caddy and mucked about for a couple hours it'll have cost around the same as buying one. It will just have to wait a bit.
Loving the multiplayer, so much different from COD based games. When I get bored I start blowing sh!t up with a rocket launcher :evil: I often get a kill because some dood on the other team is hiding in a building I've just blown up :grin:

Yeah sniper shots and bazookas I find them so unreal. So many times I've shot an RPG at someone's feet and they survived.

I know, but if an RPG is used to blow up tanks (in real life) it'll have no problem handling a well suited up soldier, even in bomb disposal protection.

Noticed that with an RPG too, thought I was going nuts or a bug in the game. It should only protect them from Claymore and 'nades and other minor explosive/incendiary devices.
Other than that, great game, can't see me going back to blops over this anytime soon.

I was only on for an hour last night as I got told off for raging too much. She makes me wear headphones, then wonders why I shout! Plus she was hogging bandwidth, it was unplayable at times.

I put the control and headset down for 2 minutes to go make a tea and you've all gone offline! :sad: I actually managed to get 10 kills to 8 deaths! :grin: mostly out of luck spawning on someone that was behind enemy lines near the 'alleyway' and blowing the sh!t out of 2 of them at a time :grin:

That's why PC multiplayer gaming sucks, you get hackers which ruin the game for everyone. Happened with HL, CS, HL2, CS:2 etc etc etc etc Give me a console any day thanks, has less potential to have a game hacked to that extent.

The update is for the DLC compatibility- there are loads of new weapons and unlocks!

silly me! didn't realise I could still play while downloading the update until about 11:30, got on and had a 30 minute sesh with a friend and ruddy hell it was the best sesh I've had in a while! I was on a killing & tank destroying spree getting me just shy of 5k points :evil: and captured the last 2 objectives straight away (Kharg Island, Rush mode)

The 12x Ballistic scope shows as a default unlock for it, although doesnt appear to be in the game? Anyone else had this? (You can spec it in the 'my soldier' section, but not use it in game) :undecided:

Hell of a learning curve to choppers, although being used to flying them in bfbc2 I swapped the heli controls in the menu to legacy or something. Helped greatly.

i find if you invert the heli sticks they are easier to fly however the roll is soooo sensitive i usually crash when trying to correct too much roll :grin:

I use cannons and ATG missiles.
Got around 85-90 jet kills so far. Best one was a quad kill with a ATG missle.
Absoloutely love jets.

best bet is conquest, on rush you're just going to be wasting assets and tickets if you're a n00b.
Really you should find an unranked server and practice on there or a quite server to practice in.

Yep Xbox all the way. It gets hard holding the gun steady at long distances, need a bigger scope really. 12x isn't quite good enough.

Really accurate, powerful and built in silencer. Had a quick go on one I picked up and loved it. Magazine is a bit small though, only 20 bullets.

There's certain "farming" servers which for xp are awesome. I ranked up 43k xp in one game last night, and played about 4 of them so levels up really quickly. Conquest in operation metro, 64 player, at the stairs of B is just nade central, and combine with LMG and some serious spraying and a tad of C4 you get kills like nothing else as well as medals. Throw an ammo bag down and just see the ressuply ribbons fly in.

Conquest in operation metro, 64 player, at the stairs of B is just nade central, and combine with LMG and some serious spraying and a tad of C4 you get kills like nothing else as well as medals. Throw an ammo bag down and just see the ressuply ribbons fly in.

Tanks... LMG/canister shell with proximity scan... Stops most blighters trying to C4 you. Killstreaks a plenty. :cool:

On other maps I'll take the LMG against infantry.

Thank you for that. Going to get my tank on a bit more. I'm nearly upto the thermal camo perk.

So what are we thinking of the updates. I like to change to the sofcom. USAS is still ok, I think it has more kick on it now.
The server list is a pain in the ass when you just want to play a normal game, unless anyone knows a way round it?

It's just full of pay servers, with "toys out of the pram" admins who kick you off for being a bit good.
Not amused.
On the plus side you can play conquest games that last a long time and rack up the points / kills.
The double deploy of the MAV is annoying as well.

Stingers don't work at all, unless you can see the whites of the eyes of the pilots, same for the Javelin - The only tank I could lock on to was about 20 ft away.
Since the update its gone from bad to worse.

I found all the DICE servers. You have to faff around and do a search for "DICE" on the server menu.
NB. Watch out for the tossers who use [DICE] as their gamertag in their pay servers.

You'll all need the Back to karkand map pack. I'm thinking CQ and Rush maps with the odd TDM thrown in.
Be a lot better (Play and connection) wise if we all had a single server to go.
Forza was lots of fun because we could all be in one party, and get to know everyone via chat. Having up to 24 of us all shooting the sh!te out of Shad everyone would be awesome fun.
I'll do it for 30 days to see how it pans out. If it's good then I'll extend.

Guys don't know if you're aware but EA are having probs, this is a phone pic of the screen I had when trying to extend our servers pretty much same message comes up when you try to buy one also.

Since the patch I've been playing about with various set-ups. Started on recon for ages and recently got a fair way with Engineer and support. Don't play assault at all, as run and gun just bores me to tears.

Aggressive Recon is the future now they've given a chest shot multiplier for the sniper rifles. One shot kills.

A. Adam can fly v well (mostly) :lipsrsealed: :grin: so can evade without much damage
B. He had ecm jammer and I had flares as the gunner, you had no hope with guided rockets... :evil:
C. Ecm jammer only prevents lock on, it's useless once the guided rockets had been fired

I re-purchased BF 3 about a week ago. Sold it again 2 days ago. Rent a server has killed it for me. :sad:
Either booted from games because I killed certain enemy players or stuck in lobbies myself against 2 enemies and a 1500 ticket limit. It seems like COD is now game-of-choice only by default. Sad times.

So how come your rockets can take me out with one even when the ecm jammer is active but my rockets always miss :angry: :lipsrsealed:
A. Adam can fly v well (mostly) :lipsrsealed: :grin: so can evade without much damage
B. He had ecm jammer and I had flares as the gunner, you had no hope with guided rockets... :evil:
C. Ecm jammer only prevents lock on, it's useless once the guided rockets had been fired
The ECM jammer is a tough one. The main thing is to get out of a situation. I believe the ECM jammer works better if you hover rather than at speed too.
Was a good little battle that. We knew you had it in for us. Just a shame the pylon turned out to be more dangerous. :tongue:

6 C4's apparently (pre patch). I was in one on Davarand Peak (attacking team, Rush) whilst being spawn raped, and Mortar fire was giving about 5% damage every hit. Never seen one destroyed before but this hit 20% health by the end of the match.

Score per min is still rising though :cool:
I like to keep the skill level above 500 but by that stage you can lose a shed load of skill by being killed once in a match by a noob. Also v difficult to gain any skill as it's weighted against you. I.e 101 kills to 33 deaths the other day and I only gained around 2 skill :rolleyes: but I can go 10/8 and lose 100 skill.

Have you ever played a PC FPS with mouse & keyboard? That combo is so much more accurate than a gamepad with no assist. Point taken about auto-aim on the Xbox (however it is minimal), and you can still pinpoint shots more accurately on PC (coming from an ex PC gamer)
A KDR of 2.0 on Xbox is easily possible? Well actually it's quite difficult, here's why:
1. My KDR of 1.95 is in the top 7% of Xbox players. :tongue:
2. Think law of averages. The average KDR for all players in the Xbox BF3 universe must equate to 1.0, as for every 1 kill there is always 1 death. (Realistically it may reside just below 1.0 when you factor in suicides, i.e. more deaths than kills).

all i know is i use the pad from the xbox on both because of restrictions in space in my room :( and i know the auto aim on the xbox is more than minimal.
on xbox ive easily gone on biggish kill streaks, a couple of my mates camped a tank and did 26-27 kills 0 deaths. i find it impossible to dominate in this way on the PC, partially because you got 32 people trying to kill you and not 12 :laugh:
maybe i just get annoyed at people who camp in vehicles playing it on an "easier" platform with aim assist and then post how awesome they are on forums :kiss:

this! really good point about a good squad
but you dont really need to be able to to talk the the other squad players just get a feel of what a squad needs, ie spawn on a player at the right time [ 1 on 1 at a flag etc ps check where the enemy is ] engineers like above.

I admit you need a decent squad but on 64 player you also rely on all the other squads in your team. personally i get well bored in tanks i like run in capature points and generally get involed.

Suppression reduction, dart fix and AA missiles damaging fast moving planes are the only updates worth actually acknowledging. They should fix the IRNV scope which they ruined from a previous patch, spawn protection and give concrete some more strength, seems that a bullet can kill you just as easy through a bloody concrete block!

Concrete can have all the strength you want, but bullets will still be able to bend around corners! :undecided:
I do approve of the reduced suppression effect for shotguns, can't hit anyone point blank when suppressed at the mo.

Multiplayer update 3 is live, and weighs in at 2.38gb! Not sure whats in it, but must be downloaded for the forthcoming battlefield premium service. Maybe the update acts as a placeholder for "premium", and by purchasing "premium" at a later date you'll obtain an unlock code for software you already have :angry:

I only seem to get kicked when repeatedly killing the server host. Or if, in annoyance at waiting for the chopper to spawn only for them to get the pilot seat before me, I load 6 c4's onto it, wait for it to take off... Apparently an M60 with extended mags set up on a railway carriage ,behind the hill on Noshir canals (second MCOM), does wonders to make the other team "think about what they're doing" whilst camping on the hill.
Don't all stand so close together next time, and don't land a helicopter there!

He was camping repeatedly in the aa tank (noshir canals, rush). Everytime I killed him on foot (rushing him with c4) he'd just wait for the aa tank to respawn. Had to teach this sucker a lesson! Got him at least 3 times with the jihad chopper!

Just played a 1 hr 54 minute 1500 ticket Conquest on Metro match. We we losing heavily and at one point were looking at 150 to 450, and being wiped out.
We manage to turn it around when I go recon and use the respawn beacon and tugs, and some other players man up.
We manage to push the other team to their respawn area in the tunnels for the first time in the match and the score gets around to 60 to 50.
Guess what? When we get to 51 -1 an were going to win, my screen goes blank! :angry:
I though the Admin had killed the game, and I was ready to go to France and beat him to death.
But, it turns out My xbox just crashed.

Happened to me on that metro game last night 101 kills 21 thou points and then boom black screen froze my xbox aswell re joined with 0 score wasnt happy lol

I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Mine freezes on BF3 perhaps once or twice a week (but then I play a lot, almost as much as Elvi!) :tongue:
Sometimes it kicks me back to the menu then displays "disc read error". Nothing wrong with the disc otherwise it would kick back to dashboard instantly.

I played hardcore for a while,but it got very boring.
Killing someone with one or two bullets is not that satisfying. Not as satisfying a gunning someone down in a hail of bullets.
Particularly satisfying if accompanied by the glorious noise of the M60 / Scar-H / G3A3.

M60, extended mag, grip, holographics, spray and advance, played with my brother the other day on metro, both with same setup and advanced down death alley me with supprssion and him with anti-sepression and a team of medics, 12 kills a piece in 2.50 minutes, it was glorious :cool:

I tried out some squad death match last night, ostensibly to unlock the L85, and nothing else. (Not ignoring you Chris, did see you on, but the red mist descended)
MY GOD its hard work when playing on your own with randoms.
After an evening of futility, I managed to win 4 matches (1 more needed).
Last few matches were on a southern US server with some kids. One in particular loved the sound of his own voice. He loved to give his squad mates info on where the enemy were and what they were up to. He must have forgotten that everybody else could hear him.
Needles to say we won those matches with aplomb!

As a note. Unless you tell me where you are going, I have to place the MAV in front of you and fly it backwards in order to keep you in vision. So, I can only spot people behind and to the side of you, unless I do a quick 180.

we had an instance of that last night on operation firestorm. jonathan and i, on anti camper duty, held that mountain all match after the same 3 campers tried regaining it time and time again. They brought choppers and jets and jeeps and we still kicked their asses.
Oh and jonathan i think you struck a nerve with that chimp guy :grin:
oh and shame the mk2 vr6 is still sat in my garage... Off the road for 18 months now...

ok guys came across some blatant cheating tonight, running towards a guy he sees me and low and behold suddenly i lag out and hes behind me and im dead. 2nd one this guy running in front of me and i have him bang to rights as soon as he takes the 1st hit i start lagging again and then being only yards from him the screen freezes for a second and again im dead, the 2nd one it happened with the same guy 3 times and at no other point in the game did i experience lag except when trying to kill these guys. any thoughts?
on pc you used to be come across guys using lag switches all the time. btw im not sh1te either and i had these guys bang on firing 1st everytime :angry:

yep on xbox, i know people are not supposed to be able to glitch it but these examples were so obvious they were deffo using something

TBH i'm not aware of any major hack issues on Xbox. It's certainly not rife.
The easy hacks, wall hacks (i.e. jumping into the roof on Metro, near US spawn) are mostly useless as you can't obtain many kills whilst using them. Glitching inside of walls by constantly killing/reviving squadmates into the corner of a room means you just get stuck; you cant shoot out, IIRC the walls are double-skinned.
Out of the 400+hrs I've played, I only recall 2 instances where I believe I was killed by hackers, both on Caspian border.
- Trail a guy in a straight line only for him to magically appear behind me and shoot me in the back.
- Trailed another guy for ages by the woods (B on conquest) only for him to spin 180 degrees and kill me with 1 shot. I had full health! :huh:

Regards lagging out and enemies getting the upper hand, it's worth bearing in mind that (I think) hit detection is calculated player side, not server side. If you have a laggy connection (i.e. connecting to a US server) you will die lots! Enemies will appear to kill you with far fewer bullets. Also bullets will appear to be able to follow you around cover :undecided:

This explains why I can raid a room with the USAS or DAO12, spam enemies in the face point blank with 3 or 4 shots only to die without even hurting them.

As soon as I see "NO SHOTGUNS" or "NO C4/M320" etc, the first thing I do is switch my loadout to all the naughty weapons... :evil:
But then I often get kicked for teabagging or generally trolling the server owners
Also I MAV-flattened one the other night just for fun... all of our squad got booted for it! :grin:

mav killing is almost pointless now as it gets destroyed if you roadkill with it... Unless you clip the top of their head with the very bottom of the mav... Then it lives on :rolleyes:
im not much of a long range sniper for the same reason as you. Its hard enough hitting a moving target at range anyway, never mind doing it twice...

I wasn't being a wimp and jumping ship for no reason... stupid bf3 physics meant it was always going to crash no matter what I did, or however much you repaired it! :laugh: I wouldn't jump out on purpose with another squad mate on board :kiss:

that was a great match! love the LA86 LMG. would normally use the M60 with a tripod but its just to big and fires too slow for small maps.
watching people bailing out of the Huey is funny from the ground, you know sh!ts gone wrong when you see 5 people suddenly fall from one in the sky just before it blows up haha.

one tactic me and my mate devised today which worked out brilliantly is to get a smoke launcher (which i use normally anyway on a big map) and smoke the tank a few times while your team mate runs at it with the C4.
most of the time its so disorientated and pissed at the smoke they dont notice the wee red dots on it till its too late :evil:

Had a very satisfying match last night.
was on metro and the other team just spawn raped us for about 400 ticket worth and won.
the next match the 3 main culprits that sat and sniped/rocketed us in the base where then royally pissed off sending me messages and trying their hardest just to get into the air only to be shot out of the sky with in a few seconds by me in a jet owning the sky on Firestorm :grin: made my night.
was fighting fire with fire that night!

patch notes for update going live tomorrow. Mostly weapon balance adjustments, but interesting change re scout choppers. You can no longer laser designate targets from the pilot seat, you have to be a passenger in seat 4 :undecided:

The extended mags is a bit pointless as you are going to have to sacrifice heavy barrel/flash suppressor/suppressor. They're reducing the range penalty for the suppressor, so I may use this for med range maps.
76 rounds is more than enough for its role.
If I need to keep lots of head down then the M60 with extended mags (200 rounds) is my choice every time.

Yeh I only use QBB95 with rifle scope/bipod/heavy barrel so extended mags isn't an issue.
The MG36 needs them though as I use that for close/medium quarters as a bigger assault rifle, and 51 rounds is just not enough.

I downloaded the patch this afternoon and had a few matches. So far the M416 with heavy barrel is the new king of all guns for the Assault class. The recoil in all directions is virtually non existent, and you can kill quite easily at long range by burst firing.
The Light LMG's now get 100 rounds with the extended mags. Meh.
The UMP now get 34 damage, but it still has it's slow fire rate, and minimum damage has dropped to 12.5, so horses for courses on this one.
But the biggest surprise was the SKS with heavy barrel. This is the new over powered gun in the game.
I got kicked of a 500% TDM canals match for raping with that.
Didn't have time to play anything with vehicles/air, so can't testify to their destructibility.

i like the updates they all make sense bar the increased accuracy when standing up with a LMG. Have they ever tried firing one of them standing up? i nearly dislocated my shoulder and only hit the target twice out of 20 rounds when firing the british LMG :grin:
anyhoo the rockets from the Jets doing more damage is handy, they where pretty pathetic when going for infantry. thats what i'm most happy about!

Good find. Annoys me that after all this time they havent rectified that knife glitch. Its still very buggy. The fact that hit detection is calculated client side is the worst though. results in enemies killing you after you've disappeared behind cover or killing you before they've gained line of sight (or so you think)

Top tip from me! Did this last night on a 1500 ticket conquest on Kharg Island. :evil:
If your playing solo on a big air map, start out as support.
Find somewhere out of the way with a bit of cover and drop an ammo pack. On Kharg Island I put mine in the rocks by the radio antenna. Then when you die (remembering to NOT drop another ammo pack in the meantime) respawn as Engineer.
Must have the Squad Explosive perk. The you start with 5 stingers/3 javelin.
Then hang around your ammo pack and shoot things in the sky to your hearts content, knowing you have a ready supply of more missiles/rockets.
And the beauty is, not matter how many times you die, the ammo pack will still be there.

I think there was a server side update over the last week or so, but that shouldnt effect server browsing.

Make sure you untick the "hardcore no maps" box that sometimes pops up on its own.
no one plays on those maps.

I prefer hardcore mode as it doesn't take a whole mag to purely wound someone, only for them to turn around and one hit kill you with a pistol. I hate stalking enemies, waiting for the right moment to gun them down, unleashing a fury of lead into their backs, then you are the one to die. :rolleyes:

Hardcore is a bit marmite, I have to be in the mood for it.
Sometimes i get fed up with normal mode, having to empty a complete clip into someone only for them to noscope me with a sniper rifle. So it's nice to have a more realistic damage level (or reduced health).
Other times hardcore annoys the hell out of me, as you cant see where camping f**ks are without the killcam. Also having no vehicle health bar puts me off.

I read it will be available on both xbox 360 and 720... So I won't be pre-ordering until I decide whether to stick with the 360.
Hopefully they fix the shocking netcode in bf4!

Picked it up at the weekend after trading in a few games and really like it! thought i should play this one before the new one comes out. :cool:

go it on xbox but only play hardcore, try getting on it but theres like 16gb download and you'll need all the map DLC etc so i suggest the premium download for about 3000microsoft points

on it probably 5 nights a week with admc6 [adam], the mighty elvi [jonathan] and sometimes hobnobbob (rob)

im having issues with this game atm, ever since the multiplayer update it seems.
i join a game and everythings honky-dory but then when i walk or run forward or change weapons it acts as if its extremely badly lagging, checked my connection (Virgin Fibre optic) restarted the xbox, deleted and reloaded the game to no avail, had one short spree where it returned to normal working gameplay then it spazz's out again :angry:
is there any point in sorting this out or just wait for BF4?

its been behaving oddly since the update:
-shooting at enemies only to die and see my bullet counter go back up, as if I hadnt shot them at all (although I have the sounds and animations going on)
-not able to shake heat seekers with flares or ecm jammer, no matter when I deploy them
-getting hit by heat seekers with no lock-on warning
-being critically damaged or sometimes destroyed in the tank with only 1 shot from another tank or rpg, from the front (!), also reactive armour not working occasionally
-c4 not detonating despite the remote beeping in the soldiers hand (usually happens when you switch from c4 remote back to main weapon)
-dying despite having gone behind cover for 2 seconds (apparently bullets can bend around corners)
plus more besides, but most of these do seem lag related, even though my game doesn't usually show the tell tale signs of lag
