Title: Newbie in indium

Hello I’ve been looking at this forum over the last few months while waiting delivery of my GTD in indium grey. Went for the dsg version and I have got to say I love the gearbox. I am not one for mods as I prefer the clean lines for a car but could not resist throwing a set of brescia’s on it! I have had loads of positive comments on the colour and the wheel combination.
I will post some photos once I figure out how to upload them from a iPad (help please) :smiley:

Sounds great! To load photos you need to use a hosting site. If you don't use one already then postimg.org is fairly easy to use albeit a little unreliable. Set up an account, upload your pictures having selected 'do not resize my images' then click on 'hotlink for forums' and paste the code into your post. Job done!

I nearly ordered indium...in fact I did but changed my mind :)

Indium really suits GTD's  I think.

Btw...when I was looking for plates the other day, I stumbled across MY18 GTD on the DVLA site and thought that would be perfect for a new gtd owner :)

Thanks I knew which colour I wanted from the start but had to convince the wife as she wanted black. I would imagine that number plate will not hang around for long!

On your GTD The silver trim with the Brescia’s flow really well.

The Brescias are fairly common on the golfs now but I do think they make a huge difference to the overall look of the car.

Love the colour mines carbon grey couldn’t find one your colour locally it looks mint :grin:

Indium Grey is a Mk7.5 (facelift) colour only, whereas Carbon Grey is a Mk7 (pre-facelift) colour only.
