been on a few sites that have a spotted thread obviously theres a lot of golfs on the roads but some are nicer than others and when i see them i wonder whos they are might even be some1 on here

It doesn't work on a countrywide forum. On the more region specific sites yes - just try a 'spotted' thread in nonsense and see what happens...

maybe because a t4 is a fairly rare sight? not sure, but every time anyone does a 'saw a black golf on the m25 yesterday' type thread on here or e38 it doesn't ever seem to result in the actual owner being found
just skimming through the mk5 section thread it seems just the same
