I dont think you would get a great 1.8t for 2.5k.....  got over £3,200 for mine and it had 101k (it was good condition though)

They seem to be cheaper on autotrader then anywhere else, i'm hoping to spend just under £3k on a turbo.
Hopefully a genuine £2.5k will turn up as i know there are a few about, as long as it's got Fsh i'll go for it.

Just looked & Parkers is valuing them at very low (I know, Parkers...)

Had it up for £4,995 as it's absolutely mint condition.  Then people started talking 'credit crunch' rubbish, and the value of cars seemed to be dropping daily.

It's the same year as my Turbo was (2001) but had less than half the mileage at 45k.

4995 how long ago was that?
