Right as i'm lazy and dont properly clean the car very often..I have the following question
I currently use meg's 3 stage products and then use a paint sealer on top of this (some made by carplan i believe) .. I am now noticing the paint has started to go dull and was wondering if claying and using a better wax will restore the clean shiney look.
I have looked at some products and would also like to know in sonus green clay better than meg's and wether using collinite as listed on another thread will give superior results to meg gold class or nx.
I get some good discount on megs products (and thats why i use them now) and wonder if the other products worth more cash!!

get the Sonus Green Clay and use the Megs Quik Detailer.

you can continue to use the Megs wax but if you want durability i'd go for Collinte 915; got it on my car and its awesome; well worth the £20 for a pot

Clay
Polish
Seal
Wax

Job done :afro:

your auto glym cheap stuff is crap for washing!!

hope you're using a mitt btw?

bilt hambler auto wash is the muttz nutz... you only need 5ml per wash!

as for megs and clays etc... megs clay breaks up and I prefer sonus green

the collinite 915 is a great wax...  but i found it produced a much nicer result when I used the collinite 845 sealant first

http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=26&products_id=113

collinite is quite hardwearing too... the jetseal 109 really is good even though it is all the rage at the moment.. combine that with the chemical guys 50/50 wax and you get

and snow foam... is an attachment if you have a pressure washer which you can use to cover your car in luvvely suds!
