Hi...Just introducing myself. I've just picked up a 32 year old MK2 Golf GTI 8v. It is actually for my daughter as her first car for when she turns 17 to teach her how to drive.
My wife's reaction was that it is 2 years older than her first car :grin:
Anyway I've always liked the Golf's, we think it looks awesome despite having plans for some small modifications.
