Ann's car is new new

The tyres only make the noise when worn down to about 12k otherwise there not a bad tyre. I dont VW would use them if they were that bad ?

Congrats on the new motor.

I've got the same tyres and find them quite noisey.

I don't find my Bridgestone Potenza RE50's noisey.

My Bridgetones are horrendouly noisy. I fitted my winter tyres weeks ago and it was amazing how much quieter they were than the Bridgestones. I also don't rate the grip on the Bridgestones

Hm - don't think I will be keeping the Dunlop's very long - they are a bit noisy and it would seem from reviews, not so good in the wet.  To think I had just put the Goodyear Eagle F1's on last car - bet they have been sold off quickly by the car graveyard people.  Might go for the Michelin Pilots next time.

The windscreen wiper problem seems to have resolved itself but realised today that steering wheel isn't quite straight - down on the right.  Oh well something else for VW to sort out, keep them on their toes

It is nice having a new car even if it does present with teething problems.
