Will i need anything extra to power about a 4000w amp running into about 2000w rms subs? maybe a new battery linked to the alternator? proper noob at this stuff but i want nice audio in my car :p Thankss

Is the amp 4000wrms or peak?

I'm running 3500wrms + and will be running 300ah of battery and 400a of alternator. Along with f**k loads of 50mm2 power cable

Ideally a split charge relay to charge a second battery in the boot.    Possibly look into uprating your alternator to match the demand too!

bigger battery
2nd battery
bigger alternator
zero gauge wiring

saying that though, does anyone know what bigger alternator is compatable to a change like this?

for example, on my corsa, i change the 55amp to a 75amp from an astra...
