Been looking for a Golf for my wife and one of these popped up.

Does anyone have any experience with these motors? The rest of the running gear doesn't faze me, but I know nothing about the 1.4TFSI

Ideally, I would like to hear comments from someone who has owned one and put some decent miles on the clock.

What about the 1.6 version?

Gave up on that idea...looking at a Peugeot 208 instead.
