i'm not saying what i voted for  :lipsrsealed:
You're a mk5 wh0re because of chassis :P

i can't deny my appreciation for engineering
That why you don't have a CTR?

don't even start  :lipsrsealed:

i can't deny progress - the MKV chassis is simply light years ahead of the MKIV

put the body of the MKIV together with the chassis of the MKV = PERFECT GOLF

I was in Sainsburys car park the other day waiting for the wife to finish shopping and near the entrance a few young kids (I think they must have been between 12 and 15 years old) were hanging about, not being naughty or anything just chilling I think they call it. Cars were coming in and going out all manner of makes and models including BMW's, Audi's, VW's and even a few Range Rover Sports not a second look from the kids until they saw a blue Mk4 R32 coming round the corner, every one of them turned and looked at it following it all the way until it parked up. They just knew it was a rare and very special car and I think it is one of the best if not the best cars VW have produced. Definately would have one in my dream garage a black one to go with a silver one and a blue one and maybe an original Audi Quattro, Lancia Delta Integrale 16v and a Aston Martin DBS for work.

Is the R32 that bad on running costs, besides petrol and insurance?  I know the tax is still the same for now....

Not particularity but the awful town / city fuel economy and the amount of miles I do in a year is enough of a reason why it just wouldn't be practical for me to personally own one at the moment.

Although I take you are thinking of upgrading? :D Get the R32 please lol

I reeeaaaaaaaaally want one, plus I only do like 6k a year which really helps.  Would end up costing a wee bit more than I can afford though really.  Plus my 1.8T is worth less than the outstanding finance
