I’ve had my 20 plate MK7.5 TCR in pure grey three weeks now and I think it’s stunning. Fair play it isn’t to everyone’s taste but I absolutely love it and can’t envisage it leaving my possession for many years

It's a different shade on the TCR though, isn't it darker than Moonstone on the Mk8?

I think you are right. I saw two moonstone mk8 non performances at the dealer yesterday, they didn't look too bad in reality.

I’ve literally just been into VW Chelmsford as I live nearby and they don’t actually have any GTIs in stock, just one GTE. Also, bloody awful service there, I asked when they would have a GTI available for a test drive and the sales guy said “god knows!” 😂

Pretty much the same response I have had from them. If they’re not interested or cannot be bothered then why advertise a number of cars for sale knowing they don’t have them and no idea when they get any.

Here are the two shades of grey side by side (credit to Volkswizard Twitter for the pic)

Mmm, the TCR looks like it was built to be that colour, whilst on the Mk 8 the lighter shade just looks like insipid primer.  Oh and those DRL's   :embarrassed:

Yes the tcr looks purposeful in that shade and the mk8 looks meh.

Given how all of the press cars are King's Red, its surprising that I've not seen one reported at any dealerships...
