Shaun - cheers mate, been putting this off for ages but it wasn't too bad. I was originally going to be doing it on the road but managed to squeeze the Golf in my parents garage with both wing mirrors tucked in lol

Chris - only thing I can think of is that I've got immo3 clocks in there so that might have been the reason. All solved once I remembered how to code the keys again.

I'll get some logs later if the rain dries up and send them through to you mate, cheers. What blocks do you think I'll need to log?

Spent the morning after work sorting the exhaust and I think we've got it pretty much bang on (by that I mean there is about 1mm between the beam and the U clamp when it's on its wheels)

It was decided to do it properly so the rear box had to come off and be cleaned up

All fixed in position now and it's not moving at all :afro:

Just need some logs now and a good wash then I'm ready for Sat

Dave - no not mapped for meth so I'll do some logs with and without and see what difference it makes. I'll be getting the map tweaked at some point anyway

Some of the heat shielding needed "adjusting" though lol

And a pic of the silencer fitted, fits perfectly in the gap

Cheers mate. VR6 MAF has a bigger diameter which is needed for bigger injectors. It's not something you can just fit in and run, you need your map adjusted to suit
