I was thinking about spraying it first but with this stuff being so cheap now and so easy to fit it was a no brainer. It won't flake off either

It should last a lot longer than spraying it

Have you done a boost leak check after refitting those pipes? How do you think that vinyl will stand up to the heat?

Great mk4...

I bet she handles a treat.

Great work with the catch can, something I must do to my mk3.

any tips for ditching the carbon canister?

The vinyl should be fine with the heat, it's designed for covering cars etc, we'll see I spose

Leak test is on my to do list, I need to borrow the small compressor from work again, might see if I can do it this weekend :afro:

Looks good mate :afro:

cheers mate, still need to take you out in it

and the grilles back in, I don't think you'd know there was an FMIC there unless you went looking for it

My pillar pod is on route, will cover that with the spare material I've got and order my oil temp gauge when I've got some spare cash

That looks good. Don't like it when you can see pipes sticking out of the grills. Pillar pods in the other hand.  :max power: not in golf IMO.

Not sue on the pillar pods either....

However, the stealth front mount jobbie looks great, well, if I could see it.

cheers mate, best bit is it only cost £4 delivered for the vinyl and about 20 mins of my time :afro:

Cheap mods / fixes are always the best ones.

Depends how you look at it... That's all some people do, cover their car in cheap mods and usually the results are appalling.
