Managed to bag myself a set of vRS 256mm vented rear brakes this week along with a bigger manifold as I may be going with a different turbo at some point...
Will strip the paint off the calipers over the Xmas holidays and paint them red to match the fronts
Manifold just needs a good going over with a wire brush and it will look good as new, will get the QC bloke at work to check the surfaces are nice and flat before fitting
I've got hold of a spare airbox lid thanks to daz_veedub so that can be modified to accept the VR6 MAF housing so I won't lose the use of my current one. I should also have a manual boost controller here soon to help with the next stage of tuning.
I've also decided to fit a set of oil temp/pressure gauges just to monitor what's going on. I've bought a dual pod for the A pillar and will be using these gauges

I wasn't happy with the amount of joins in the oil sensor adapter though so I asked my mate at work if he could make me something up and this is the result
Before there were four joins now there are just two. I've done this for all the parts so there is less chance of a leak
No more spending out on things for now, the credit card needs to be paid off first and I've got plenty to be getting on with over the winter, I've also got my wheel to repair and the seat base to fit. Might even get round to washing it
