NEW CAR!!

Hi all, have just bagged myself a 2001 1.8t 20v gti and as it is completely standard, i was wondering if anyone can reccomend the best way to get modding with it?

work your way through the mk4 project section for ideas. You need to decide which way you are going with it; looks, performance or both :wink:

Cheers for the advice! :) i put her on coiloivers and black 17 cupra alloys today, she looks mean already!, wanna keep comfort in a sense but increase the power, have heard of stage one remaps with standard engine taking it to the 190bhp mark? is this true?

Stage 1 remap will make 190 bhp. Also a forge 007 DV is what you need as well.
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

Like the black look.  :cool: As mentioned,  suspension,  brakes, poly bush,  lightweight wheels, arbs, strut braces remap etc.......Get some black VW badges

I have full K04 kit for sale with mapper ecu 276hp!!! Bolt on and away you go. Wink wink.

Cheers for the advice people! i dont want it to be a boy racer sounding car with the dumping all the time n i was told the engine cannot run with a dv fitted or summit? to do with recirculating?

and how much is the ks04 going for? haha
