Hartside - you in NCL?
I went to Pullman in Durham - Benfield Silverlink had no Gti's for me to test drive - Mike Simm at Pulman brought a Gti to me in NCL twice for a test drive - he's been great - ordered in Dec and he is saying last week was my BW and delivery expected end March

No i did not buy from them but wish i had, from Benfield or Pulmans. Neither had allocation left when i originally wanted to order so i ordered from another dealer down south. What a joke thats been since though. You live and learn  :grin: just fyi the guy i would have probably delt with would have been John Wade at Pulmans as he seemed to know his onions.

I'm north of Newcastle. Tried Silverlink first, then bought from Scotswood.

Live in London, bought from Inchcape VW in Telford, Shropshire.
How mad is that!
Seems to have worked out quite well so far with a reasonably fast (for VW) delivery (everything crossed!).

I think the fun was sourcing a GTi for price as well as delivery times.
It was quite an interesting experience. I did most of the UK before settling with my stealership!

i live in north wales near abersoch and purchased my Golf all be it a r at stratford vw dealers because i was egnored at all local deales
so iw ill be turning up at the local dealers to pik up a brocure or some thing to rub there faces init lol
