...sounds ok  -  we're in my BW 10  -  apparently, the car is at 'check point 4', ie the paint shop  -  sounds good... :drool: :drool:

It's build week 9 this week so your car must have been started 1 week early.

I didn't know that sort of thing happened  -  judging by others' experiences, cars are behind schedule, not ahead! Anyway, this checkpoint 4 business....is that a clear indication of a delivery date?

i've no idea what check point 4 is ! Maybe it's something to do with checking the parts are ready for build.

apparently, checkpoint 4 is the paint shop and I've read somewhere that checkpoint 6 is the 'assembly' stage (sounds a bit general)  -  I just wonder if I can derive any timing indications from the 'fact' that my car is now at checkpoint 4  -  probably not....I've read a lot of complaints about cars sitting at the docks in Germany waiting for the journey over here.

My car was originally for BW9. It was built in BW8.
Your car was originally for BW10. It was built in BW9.
My car is now waiting, BW9, in the docks. It will take approximately 2 weeks to get loaded as there is a lack of ships!
Your car will be in the docks next week, BW10, suffering the same fate as mine!
