Hi,

Picked up this local Mk3 Gti 8v last september with FSH 2 owners from new for a bargain price having just creeped over the 10000 mile mark (not even broken in for a Golf!)

It was standard apart from a set of old school "Boss 17's"  :sick: and original smoked GTi Hella rear lights.

Here are the 1st pics I took :

Pretty much left in storage over the winter months and a list of parts has assembled including :

Smoked Side Repeaters
Votex Roof Bars
35mm Spax Lowering springs
Morrette Quad Headlights
Powerflow Back Box
BBS Solitudes(Winter Wheels)
Original Mk3 BBS Anni 16's (Need to be refurbed)
VR6 Deep chin spoiler

Only done a couple of bits so far including the fitting of the roof bars, the side repeaters and the springs and here's how it's looking after a good polish and clean :

A damn good clean!!!

Painting & Fitting my ABT Grill this week, fitting my Polo GTi steering wheel and also recently bought and fitted a Mk4 GTi Wooden Gear Knob & Gaitor  :evil:

Trying to source a Hella inner light so I can fit my Quads too  :whistle:

Side skirt top strips have both finally gone rusty as I discovered tonight, with the passenger one falling off!!!  :angry:

Phone call to the local VW dealer tomorrow morning me thinks!

my weekend will consist of stripping out the A-Pillars and painting them black before tackling the roof lining!

Got some H&R Ultra Low Coilies to pick up and fit during the week 

Then I need to get some hub centric spacers to sort the stance out once the new lows are set in...

Also going to paint the calipers and sort the bloody roof lining that just keeps annoying me every time i look at it!!!  :angry:

Bagged myself some new wheels : Audi Pepperpots .......lowered it more  :evil: and spaced them all out 5mm each until I get my arches rolled.

Well it seems in the space of a few hours I have managed to bag myself some Banded Steelies 8's & 9's with 175/55 stretched tyres & some hella all clear tails!!!! - roll on fitted UK at the weekend  :cool:

Well 1st of all a bit of a slight problem with the golf breaking down due to a broken ignition barrel but managed to temporary fix it so I could drive to fitteduk so that left me with the Saturday to get things sorted and fit whilst dodging the mother of all storms!!!!

Need a 2.25 to 2" (internal measurement) reducer to fit the exhaust so got to get in touch with MJ Exhausts ASAP and get one made (Clamp on or weld?? Hmmm food for thought  :whistle:)
