Still staggered that Xenons aren't standard in this day and age. I'd never buy another car without them.

I don't understand why they haven't banned Xenons, to be honest.

Why would they be banned ?

Given that VW are making a healthy profit even in the current climate and that the Mk6 was brought in to reduce costs, I think they are taking the p155 with the price. Not that I'm too bothered as I won't be getting one...

Black one looks nice.  Only thing I'd say is that the fogs look too bling and too bright.  They should have been smoked.  Also, there's too much going on in the lower front spolier/grill section - a bit messy to be honest.  :undecided:  Apart from that, it looks ok, but I still prefer the Mk5 GTI in terms of looks.  They should have spaced the rear exhausts like the Mk5 R32s also - the Mk6 ones look too far apart and the small diameter accentuates the space between them.

It's something of a mis-guided comment.

Properly specified HID headlights, fitted in a legal fashion are fine.

The problem is numpties like Kells fitting cheap kits to cars without headlamp levelling systems, with no headlight washer systems, behind lenses that aren't designed for HID units.

These are the cahnts dazzling other road users.  'upgrade' kits for fitting HIDs to older cars should be banned for sure.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Good explanation, ta.
