The idle problem fixed itself :afro:

I fitted the induction kit:

Left it on for a few days as it was quite fun, but removed it in the end so I'm back to standard.

Ordered some more 312mm carriers so I hope these turn up :afro:

Few things on my list over the coming months:

New rear lights
Suspension

Things are gradually moving but still restricted money-wise unbtil I go fulltime at work in May. I'll fit the 312mm front brakes when the carriers turn up and still need to replace my driver side door seal with the replacement I have, and fix my broken wing mirror.

R32 DSG intake on - made a surprising difference! looks stock too. :afro:

Secondary air pump repaired so not much noise on start up now.

312mm brakes being fitted after i finish uni and a massive cleaning mission and possibly a MAF. Got no money at the moment :(

312mm brakes on this morning before work.

Need to get some calliper paint but unsure what colour, noteed though as IMO it's a bit cliché now.

Fitted the cheapo chinese gear knob, going to sand the chrome bit down and give it a lick of black paint.

Thinking about ordering the whole bit that the gear knob sits on as mine is broke and all scratched.

Not much to report :(

Ordered some bits that broke when fitting the catch can. also booked the car in to have a new exhaust reducer fitted and have the system re hung so it sits better. And then it's the dreaded MOT in a weeks time.

Fitted the bit I broke, was a pig to get out!

This little baby.

So another niggly problem sorted with a possibility of sorting another two over the next week. Not great progressbut all these things need doing.

Got some lows :

Front ARB was catching so have had to raise the front and left it like this for the evening.

Pics from fitting:

After they'd settle I adjusted then today and put the front up more (to stop ARB and DS fouling) and put the rears up too. Now it sits level, also had a bad exhaust knocking so tried to get hold of the rubber mounts today but couldnt so cabled tied one of the old one until I can fit the new ones on Thursday.

Also ordered some more goodies!

Fitted US rears.

also put on a new MAF and the cars seems to be a bit happier now with regards to the engine light coming on.  Also replaced the back backbox mount and got the front one sat in my car waiting to be done next week at some point. Not sure if it'll sort the exhaust out, if not I may get it booked in for a Milltek or sort something out. Got dogbone mount to sort next week as well.
