Hi

Car was supposedly servived 1st sept by arnold shark however my vwconnect says its due oil service 8k or 180 days is it not annually or 10k miles ? Am i being a div wudnt surprise me if it hadnt been serviced !

Ask them for proof it was serviced. Maybe the VW app hasn't updated but more likely service not done.

How do they prove it ? Their system says it was done and they just hadnt reset the indicators

Ask to see the paperwork that should have been completed and also check your service book. Is it stamped? If not I'd be asking questions and maybe contacting VW UK too.

DH has said to take it to vw garage and get it serviced again  that way it has a vw garage stamp and not sharks citroen

Bet they f**ked up resetting service intervals. Most garages that don't have VW specific gear can't do it properly.

Since they took over Advantage/Inch VW in Stirling and Inch in Bathgate the nearest alternative is probably Western at Newbridge. AC seem to pretty much be leaving VW owners with not much option.

Im goi g to go to western at newbridge DH will change oil just to be on the safe side but i agree AC have literaly taken over all the garages even john weir mercedes at grangemouth !

You'd be nearer to Cameron VW Perth.Although i don't know if they are any good.Also an AC in Wishaw.
Yeah,the Arnold Clark monster just seems to eat up everything in sight.
