Anything wrong with red?

I collected a load today from Chester area the guy there had a Red R with pan roof as he explained red wouldn't have been his 1st choice on his R but it was an ex demo and the right price and the colour is growing on him with the black highlights

I had a look at that last photo again on my monitor. The tyres on the GTI Performance are Bridgestone Potenza S001. It was my last hope that they might fit a performance tyre to the performance GTI

There must be something wrong with me as I'd be happy with those especially after all the hours spent today cleaning my Santiagos

I'm aware that in the past red cars tended to fade in colour but I thought that was not an issue these days.

Was that primarily a Vauxhall problem. Even the Vauxhall mail vans faded to pink. I never noticed any of the older VW or Audi cars with faded red paint.

I always liked red Golfs, but thought it was a colour for a younger person. At the weekend I saw a Mk7 red GTD and R. My first thought was - they look good in that colour. It's a really eye-catching colour.

It must just be me but I've convinced my wife not to bother getting a new GTI as planned,based purely on the the poor selection of wheels on offer for the 7.5 model.
I'm sure they are a decent enough wheel and will be loved by many, but they are not for me.
Thats my last word on the Parker alloys.......I think
