What are your thoughts on the A4 Black Edition? I was quite tempted by the recent cheap lease offers but wasn't sure about the 1.4 engine.

It's my wife's daily but I've driven a few times - both really happy with it. Being the 150hp 1.4 turbo petrol, it is no rocketship of course, but feels rapid enough for normal driving without feeling sluggish

We're certainly not disappointed

The interior of the new B9 model is really nice and the Virtual Cockpit is very easy to use - you can see where the money has been spent. Wife loves her heated steering wheel

Ah, I thought the Black Edition had a flat bottom steering wheel? Or is that because it's heated?

Yeah, the heated one is normal shaped - the standard wheel is flat-bottomed

I love Audi steering wheels, nicer than any VW one I think.

This weekend I fitted a Remus responder (pedal box), reduced my tyres pressures from 38 to 36 all round and put the diff into 'increased traction' mode using OBDeleven.
