So on goes the air filter!

I decided to go down the Honda S2000 line...

Only problem is that dia on the MAF for the golf is aprox 70mm, and the dia on on the S2000 is 90mm

so this is how i did it and i know Golfyste is dying to know how

Pretty simple to be honest
I got a big rubber washer i had nocking around in the garage

fitted that round the MAF

and boom 1 S2000 fits a golf mk4 MAF

Then just bolted it back in

i wasent to trusting so i got some duct tape on there and also a tie wrap at the end of the filter to hold it in place , and it look pretty tidy   :smug:
but still its not about the looks, its how it works right :D

will be getting a heat sheild and better cold air feed soon ;)

all righty then, not been around the car to much as i have been pretty busy, but were back on it and ready to get cracking

so i have done a few things since my last post, so this is what i have been getting up to

i put some blue led light in the doors with the help of Ste's wiring but they have broke after 6 month so looking for some better than the £3 ebay specials haha

got some new 18" alloys with the rubber for £270, bit of s bargain i reckon

but the hub sizes was a bit different so had to get some sprigot rings as i had terrible wheel wobble

Before

After
Sorted

I also got a silicone reducer for my S2000 air cone as the tape was not the nicest of things to look at

Before

After

And today i also put on the Ani front splitter i have had sitting in my bedroom for last 6 month with the help (mainly) of Ste haha

But they was some fitting problems so out came the grinder

Looking better

Thats all for now, but hoping to get moving with it again SOON
