Title: Mk3 GTi black moulded plastics issue
Post by: Skink on 19 February 2016, 20:53
Hi
Need a bit of advise on what to do with the black plastic wing and bumper mouldings on my GTi.
Every time  it rains a bit, they get stained with watermarks making them look crap. They disappear if you buff them or apply silicon spray, but it's only a short time fix. Any products anyone recommends? Have thought about Th heat gum treatment but to be honest I just don't have the time to tackle it like that at the mo.
Cheers

heat gun and oil is the best method IMO, and probably the least time consuming.
