Thought i would start one of these even though for the next couple of months i wont be doing much due to money going out :angry: But then after that the modding will begin :smiley:
Done a few small cosmetic things which i think help the overall look of the car.
This was how she looked when i first picked her up last weekend. Going to call her Sarah Jane as she is SJ52 :grin: (unless you can think of a better name)

Starting to drive it a bit more and so far i am loving it, especially the turbo whistle :laugh:

Another small update just finsished painting the interior bits to freshen it up as they were very scratched. Also added the GTI footrest with new pedals on the way so once finsihed should look :cool:

Just fitted my 007p valve and just went round the block, feels like it is slighty better so hopefully give it a good test this week some time. Will post pics but sure everyone knows what they look like by now lol :drool:
Next up buying some carriers for my 312mm brake upgrade once i get pid friday lol, then 2 weeks till my 3 week holiday then when i come back will be lookinh into new exhaust hopefully :smiley:

Just recieved some 312 carriers so now just need to buy the brakes :drool: and fitted pipercross panel filter. Apart from that not alot happening :sad:

Just had the new 312mm brakes fitted and atm just bedding them in but they defo feel alot better :smiley:
Got some new blue hoses to add once i get enough time to fit them :smiley:
Then will have to start thinking about either a remap or handling??

Right been in the process of trying to sell my 2.0 gti so havent had much chance to do much however i have done a small sharan badge mod. Now i must have ordered the wrong size one as it looks a lil smaller then the sharan badge but still looks better then the huge oem one lol

Had a sports cat and 3" dp fitted made the car much smoother :smiley:
Come jan/feb she will be getting slammed :cool: :cool: without a shadow of a doubt :smiley:

Lil bit of an update.
Sorted out my wiring for air bag hopefully, gunna fit the drivers side tomo the. If it works can do the passengers side.
Just ordered some lowering springs (35mm) just to give her better handling and looks while I save p for some coilovers :smiley:
Comes Thursday gunna take the gamble and fit my winter tyres so I can start to prep my montys :smiley:

Rear brakes, pads, fuel & oil filter, spark plugs and service done on 127k miles
15/7/15 - Start motor replaced (no more squealing), engine raisers installed 15mm, smoke test carried out all ok
BAD points:
Front passenger jom shock has gone (was going to replace with new jom coilovers all round but been saving for Canada)
Slight paint peel on rear driver side arch due to rubbing when having porshce twists on (been quoted between £80 for just lips - £200 for whole section
Good points:
Been an absolute solid car for me, don’t really want to sell it for 2nd time round, plans were to get a FMIC, new injectors and custom remap as the car has more to give being an AUM with the bigger ko3s.
