Heads up: the climate windscreen is made of paper!

Small chip/crack in my one month old climate windscreen plus other tiny marks.

I have never had a chip in 9 years of car ownership, so I was not pleased to see this happen. Fortunately, it was small enough and in a location where a repair could be done, but I am waiting out for more damage before a full replacement on the insurance.

I've had one chip/crack repaired and have numerous smaller chips not to mention all the paint chips on the bumper, bonnet and edge of the roof! I had nothing like that on my Audi which I owned for 12 years and my driving habits haven't changed. Very odd

I would be more then happy to have a thicker, heavy windscreen and sacrifice a couple of mph off the 155 top speed

I've had loads of windscreen hits on the previous Mk7... I think its something to do with the shape/length of the nose of the car.

There's also an awful lot of smashed up road surface around at the moment....

Don't worry, it's no different to the standard screen so you're no worse off...

Yes it is worst quality on windscreens these day on all brand..

So don´t use ice scrape if you can. I never use it anymore, because of all the scratches you get...

the paints crap too, i've got 3 scratches on mine already and only done 400 miles. i even had that carbon coating put on it...lol. waste of money tbh.
