Is anyone running a bluefin on their mk7 GTI?
According to their website it is available for the GTI up to 3/2015 models, mine is a 2013.

I had one on my mk6 and loved it.

I remember the mk7 couldn't be mapped using the bluefin when it first came out but it seems as though it now can be.

Anyone actually using one at the moment?

Is this an alternative to the Bluefin without getting a proper stage 1 remap?

They have told me (and confirmed on the website) that this will increase power from 227bhp to 279 and torque up to 369nm. Which would be a decent increase for £380. And it can be easily removed if required and remapped if you change cars.

Thoughts?

Quite a small gain on torque in comparison to the Superchips map I have, see here: https://tinyurl.com/yda4wz4e

I paid £415 for the handset and the process took about 30 mins to install, all whilst sitting comfortably in the drivers seat with my laptop and the handset.

Yes, they do that for the newer Golf as that seems a better system. For some reason as well, despite having same bhp figure, the GTI 7.5 is well down on torque over the mk7 GTI PP? This tuning box only adding 50nm of torque as starts with 300, not the 350 of the earlier Golf PP.

How are you 6MT guys fairing? Any clutch problems?

Looks like a good option as similar gains to APR low output.
