Very impressed with the bluefin.

Easy to install and very noticeable power increase, it has really transformed the car making it a much more satisfying drive.

Light throttle only in 1st or 2nd , 3rd - 6th - brilliant, it just pulls and pulls.

Insurance was surprising - only a tiny increase

Can i just ask why people have gone with bluefin and not say dtuk? Or others 😉

Again, just for the ease of use - it's just plug and play. Also, the fact that the power curve on the new software is the same as stock, so the characteristics of the engine feels the same but with the additional power - if that makes sense?

I ordered mine last week so will hopefully be here tomorrow. Mine is a manual so I will be able to feed back how it is. I'm guessing you are asking because of the manual clutch issues! Are they really that bad? Who knows. I think the bluefin is one of the more reserved remaps out there so will see

I have DSG. I was wondering how that behaves with the Bluefin. On my ED30 I had the dsg map to go with Revo Stg1 so the gear changes were'nt all over the place.

I'm not sure about that mate, hopefully someone with Dsg can answer that for you! There doesn't seem to be many posts on here talking about remaps

There was an article in last month's VW Driver magazine, unfortunately they tested the DSG software update before the engine remap. but may be worth a read.

Is this Bluefin coming out at £419?

I thought they were considerably less on previous GTi vaiants?
