Well sh!t the bed . . . Autogla$$ must have been out of stock of their own-make rubbish.

Or maybe they are actually responding to the plethora of complaints over not only the dodgy glass they supply, but also their dire workmanship.  I do know that both Aviva and LV - whom insist you can only use Autogla$$ - will refuse to authorise a genuine screen if a non-genuine has previously been fitted.

I am on the third windscreen in my current car (just about 3 years old - I do a lot of miles), twice replaced with genuine VW windscreen and both times they did a decent job.
Just had a chip repaired and reasonably happy with it (it's still visible but doubt anyone could make it invisible).

Mind you I always watch them do it :D
