Stupid question probably - the armrest is the same on a 7.5 as a 7, right?

I can tell you if I so much as suggested that use at home, they would be instantly confiscated, and rightly so.

I thought I was only getting the two circle mats for the cupholders.  When I got home from work I wondered why the package was so long, then out fell R rubber mats galore. I might slip one of two under the washing machine right leg as it's gone a bit wonky and after a spin, can be found at the other side of the utility room from whence it started, so a rubber mat might just keep it still.

Ironically I don't like the cupholder mats.

What have you done with the original? I can offer some beer tokens to prevent it taking up space in landfill...
Didn't even know they existed TBH, where do they come from?

I'm afraid someone else has first dibs on the outgoing one but if they decide not to take it, it's your FOC.

Can be purchased as per IWGTI link.  The R one also from eBay.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122511460118

After looking at the eBay link where you got yours I found out that I also needed one because obviously where else do you keep your money in a car

Mine is mainly used to store all my 10 year old daughter's junk (hairbands, lip balm, sweets, notepads etc, etc, that I refuse to have cluttering up the rest of the cabin and anything in door pockets, other than microfibres and a Glliptone air freshener, is a no-no.

Underneath it is where I keep my drugs.

Collected my car from Lepsons this morning.  Another amazing Prets refurb job by them.  2 kerbed Prets refurbished. One was rear n/s, other was front o/s, but both now refurbed and put on same side (n/s), and sealed.  Finish is better than factory.  Colour match (Blue Chrome) is spot on again.  Absolutely top notch service.

Before

After

And then..

New rubber...

Out with the old…..Conti 5P

In with the new….Michelin PS4S

Tyres fitted by Lepsons Tyres, and a great job done, Michelin logo on all 4 lined up.

Early days  - done about 40 miles on the new tyres today and still need scrubbing/bedding in - but some notable differences already.  Noticeably quieter than the Conti 5Ps especially on the motorway, and the ride is less harsh and more forgiving (using same DCC setting in Sport).  They feel quite different to the 5Ps and in a very very good way.  The only way I can describe it is that they feel absolutely one with the road, as if the tyres and car are a true extension of the road.  They afford a little less rim protection than the 5P's as the Prets don't sit as far back, so will have to be ultra careful, but really looking forward to getting to know these tyres.

Just need to get the hubs painted now.

Thanks Kalimon.  To be fair this is the first self inflicted kerbing of my Prets (previously repaired damage was done in crash). It's a record for me to go nearly 2 years without kerbing a wheel.

Car was washed on Monday but has been undercover most of the week so still clean(wish) that's a job that doesn't need doing this weekend.
