I did a lot of reading up on these (relative to the simplicity of it, I was on a night shift and things were quiet for a while....) and iirc, the BMS one is too long for the hole so to fit flush you need to trim the point off. Just bear that in mind when fitting, don't go cutting it off first in case I'm wrong, I was rather tired at the time :laugh:

I think I may have read the same post last night, seems most people are also removing two spacers as well.

Just had confirmation my order has shipped so hopefully will be fitting tomorrow / Friday.

Will post back and let you all know how I get on.

Removed the clutch assist spring along with a good proportion of skin from a finger :cry: and managed to take a small piece of white plastic off something unknown, par for course for me :rolleyes:. Access is pretty poor so I can't see how the spring would be  refitted but luckily I'd recommend removal, not a massive difference but it does feel better and the annoying pinging noise every time I take my foot off the clutch has gone :smiley:

A nice quick easy(ish) free mod :smiley:
